Who we are
Şandin Tech Inc. ("Şandin", "we", "us") operates this corporate website from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This notice explains how we handle personal information under Canadian privacy expectations for commercial organizations (including the spirit of PIPEDA). Product platforms such as ŞAND may publish additional privacy terms when you use those products.
What we collect
Contacting us by email: we receive whatever you include in your message (typically name, email, and the content of your inquiry). Feedback survey (/feedback): name, email, optional phone and business name, role path (sender, driver, or both), and your survey answers. Early beta (/beta): name and email you submit, plus payment-related records after a successful $1 CAD Stripe Checkout (stored in our early registration records). We do not intentionally collect sensitive identity documents through these flows.
Payment information
For the $1.00 CAD early beta contribution, payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe may provide us with payment confirmation details (such as session or customer references, email, amount, and status) so we can record your early registration.
Why we collect information
We use personal information to: run voluntary product and market research from Feedback submissions; manage early-access and founding interest lists from Beta signups; confirm and administer the $1 CAD contribution; respond to inquiries; and send related follow-up about research, launch readiness, or early access when you have signed up. We do not sell personal information.
Where information is stored
Survey submissions are stored in our Supabase-hosted database (signups table). Paid early beta registrations are stored in Supabase (early_registrations table) after Stripe confirms checkout. Hosting, database, and payment providers may process data in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where they operate. We use service providers only as needed to operate these features.
Emails and CASL
If you submit a survey or beta form, we may send you emails related to that signup (research follow-ups, early access, or launch updates). Commercial electronic messages are intended for people who asked to hear from us through those forms. To stop marketing-style follow-ups, reply to the message or contact support@sandintechinc.com or info@sandintechinc.com and ask to unsubscribe. Transactional notices (for example, payment receipts from Stripe) follow the payment provider's practices.
Retention
We keep Feedback and Beta records for as long as reasonably needed for research, early-access administration, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them when they are no longer required. Exact periods may vary by record type.
Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable Canadian law, you may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about our practices. Contact support@sandintechinc.com or info@sandintechinc.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information (such as payment records held only by Stripe) may need to be requested from that provider.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small corporate site and signup flows. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
These flows are not directed at children. Please do not submit personal information on behalf of a minor unless you are their parent or guardian and Canadian law permits it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as our site features change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site or forms after an update means you should review the revised notice.
